At Sons of Our Fathers, we believe every young person carries the potential to lead, create, and inspire—sometimes all they need is someone to show them how.
Founded in Poughkeepsie, New York, our organization was built on a simple but powerful idea: to pass down the lessons, skills, and values that fathers once shared with their sons, and to ensure those legacies never fade.
Through hands-on mentorship and skill-based programs, we help youth find purpose, build confidence, and create lasting impact in their communities. From the track to the workshop, our mission is rooted in connection—bridging generations through shared experience and honest work.
Our Programs
Mentorship Program
Our mentorship program pairs young men and women with experienced mentors who offer more than advice—they offer time, attention, and real-world experience. Whether it’s learning a trade, developing a craft, or discovering a new direction, these relationships foster resilience, purpose, and personal growth.
Sons Sponsorship Program
Opportunity can change everything. Our sponsorship program supports dedicated motocross riders and privateers through equipment, financial aid, and training resources. With four sponsorship levels, we help athletes pursue their dreams without the barriers that often hold them back—so they can focus on growing in skill, discipline, and confidence.
MX6 Racing Motocross Partnership
In partnership with MX6 Racing, our mission extends onto the track. Together, we guide and support emerging riders through mentorship, sponsorship, and teamwork. It’s not just about racing—it’s about character, perseverance, and learning to push forward no matter what the course throws your way.
